The installation checkout of the Curtis 1243 Gen 2 controller can be conducted with or without a programming device. While using a programmer makes the process easier, it is not necessary. If you don't have a programmer, you may observe the Status LED for diagnostic codes. For more information about the codes, please refer to Section 7 of the attached manual.
