While a controller with a 600-amp rating might drain a battery pack more quickly than one with a 400-amp rating, in reality, the controller only provides the amount of current the vehicle requires.
In addition, the speed at which your battery pack will be depleted is ultimately determined by the vehicle's demand curve. The vehicle generally needs less than 100 amps once it is moving. Then the user's attempts to accelerate or speed up the car itself will afterward determine how fast the battery pack will be drained.
