By using the On-the-Fly programmer, speed and acceleration can be changed and set to a minimum to avoid fluctuating high currents. If the current drawn is reduced, the battery will last longer as it uses less energy. Also, downhill regenerative braking may be increased using the same programming device. This will conserve the battery and brakes.
